Tigers Sit Three Strokes Back After Day One At William & Mary Invitational

Williamsburg, Va. - The Princeton University women's golf team is three strokes back of both William & Mary and Yale after one round of play at the 2002 William & Mary Invitational in Williamsburg, Va. The Tigers shot a day one team score of 312 and are tied with James Madison heading into Sunday's final round.
Esty Dwek led the Princeton Tigers with a first-round score of 76 and is tied for seventh among all individuals. Meg Nakamura was one stroke back with a 77 and Avery Kiser was two strokes back with a 78.
Captain Vanessa Redman shot an 81 on the first day and Taryn Haladay rounded out the Princeton scoring with an 82. Princeton's Megan Milam competed as an individual and leads all non-team members with a score of 75.
The Invitational concludes play on Easter Sunday with the final round of play beginnig with shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. on Fords Black Heath Golf Course. For complete day one results, click here.
