Women's Golf Team In Fourth After One Round At James Madison

Harrisonburg, Va. - The Princeton women's golf team shot a day one score of 318 and sit in fourth place at the James Madison Invitational in Harrisonburg, Va. The Tigers are 13 strokes back of leader Penn State and only two strokes back of both Maryland and host JMU.
Avery Kiser and Meg Nakamura each shot a first-round score of 77 and are tied for seventh among the individuals. Both Esty Dwek and Vanessa Redman shot an opening round 82 and sit in a tie for 31st overall. Taryn Haladay has an 85 after 18-holes of play.
Princeton looks to move up in Sunday's final round at Lakeview Golf Club. The Tigers are coming off a second-place finish at the William and Mary Invitational and hope to gear up for the Ivy League Championships next weekend.
Sunday's final round is set to commence at 8:30 a.m.
