Tigers Golfers Hold Fifth At Rutherford Intercollegiate

State College, Pa. - The Princeton University men's golf team is in fifth place at the 2002 Ruterford Intercollegiate after two round of play. The Tigers, fresh off an Ivy League Championship last weekend, finish day one with a team total of 589.
Princeton sits 16 strokes back of first-place Penn State, which leads the 15-team field with a day one total of 573. Maryland is in second with a 577 and UNC-Wilmington sits in third after shooting a 36-hole team score of 578.
The Rutherford Intercollegiate will conclude on Sunday with the final 18 holes on Penn State's Blue Golf Course. Tee times begin at 8 a.m. from the first and 10th tees.
