Princeton, N.J. - The Princeton University football team welcomes all women above the age of 18 to its inaugural women's clinic on Saturday, May 11 at 8:00 a.m. The clinic, held on the campus of Princeton University, is designed to educate women on the positive aspects of football and all proceeds will go to the Breast Cancer Research Division of the Cancer Institute of New Jersey.
"First is the need to give back to the community," says clinic coordinator and assistant football coach Eric Jackson. "Every one of the coaches has a mother, daughter or wife. We want to make sure we do our part to fight against breast cancer."
The first-annual clinic will teach fundamentals and strategies of football in a hands-on and safe setting. It will run from 8 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. with special guest speaker Scott Pioli, the Director of Player Personnel for the world-champion New England Patriots.
All interested candidates need to fill out the downloadable registration form and returned it by Monday, May 6.
