Princeton Places Eighth At James Madison Invitational

Princeton, NJ - Greg Johnson shot three rounds of 72 to lead the Princeton men's golf team to an eigth-place finish at the James Madison Invitational on Sunday afternoon. The Tigers shot a team total of 865 to open the fall season one stroke back of seventh place St. Joseph's and 45 strokes back of first-place Penn State.
David Huestis had the best third round for Princeton, scoring a round of 71 to finish in a tie for 29th place overall. Creighton Page shot rounds of 73, 71 and 75 to finish tied for 35th. Cassidy Traub finished with a 220 and Nat Hoopes wrapped up the Tiger scoring with a 227.
Princeton continues its fall schedule with the Temple Owl Invitational with rounds on Saturday-Sunday, Oct. 5-6 in Philadelphia, Pa.
