Men's Golf Takes Second At The McLaughlin

Farmingdale, N.Y. - Princeton shot the low round of the day on Saturday, recording a team total of 286 en route to a second-place finish at The McLaughlin. Jason Gerken led the Tigers with a 36-hole score of 139 on the Red Course at Bethpage.
Gerken shot a 68 on the first day and finished with a 71 on Saturday to place fourth overall. Cassidy Traub shot rounds of 71 to score a 142, while David Huestis finished one stroke back with a143. Creighton Page was one stroke back of Huestis with a 144 and Greg Johnson rounded out the Princeton scoring with a two-day total of 148.
Andrew Svoboda of St. John's won medalist honors, leading the Red Storm to a championship score of 566.
Princeton continues fall play with an appearance at the Temple Owl Invitational on Oct. 5-6.
