PRINCETON, N.J. - Peter Sabbatini was named MVP and John Stover and Dan McKenna were named first-team All-ECAC, as announced today by the host institution Brown. Princeton won the ECAC tournament, held Sept. 27-28, by defeating Navy 8-6 in the championship game.
Sabbatini made 10 saves in the final game while Stover and McKenna each scored two goals. The Tigers reached the title game with a 12-3 win over Johns Hopkins, 19-4 win over George Washington and 10-2 win over Queens. Sabbatini had 23 saves while Stover and McKenna each scored seven goals throughout the tournament.
