Princeton, N.J. - With the baseball season winding down, it is a great chance to check on the current Tigers playing Minor League Baseball throughout the country. Three former Princeton pitchers and three former position players recently finished their 2003 seasons and are already looking forward to what lies ahead in seasons to come.
One of Princeton's highest profile athletes of recent memory is Chris Young '02. Young, a baseball and basketball star at Princeton, was chosen by Pittsburgh in the second round of the 2000 baseball draft. Prior to this season, Young was involved in a trade to the Montreal Expos organization. He began the season in A Brevard County and was promoted to AA Harrisburg in the middle of the year. In AA ball, he pitched to a 4-4 record and a 4.01 ERA in 15 appearances.
