Women's Fencing Earns Four Wins

The Princeton women's fencing team improved its record to 9-3 overall after sweeping four matches today at Jadwin Gym. Princeton opened the day with a 21-6 win over Cornell, then defeated James Madison 26-1, Farleigh Dickinson 21-6 and Temple 15-12.
The highlight of the day was the day's final match with Temple. With Princeton winning 5-4 in the epee and Temple winning 5-4 in the sabre, the foil would be the difference maker and Princeton won the final two bouts to earn a 6-3 win and a 15-12 overall win.
In the day's first three matches, Princeton swept all three weapons.
The Tigers resume action Wednesday night at Penn.
