PRINCETON, N.J. - Adele McCarthy-Beauvais scored three goals in the first quarter as the Princeton women's water polo team earned a decisive 16-2 win over Queens.
The Tigers, who led 9-1 at the half, used balanced scoring from Courtney Mee (3), Jenny Edwards (3), and Melinda Martin (2). McCarthy-Beauvais led all scorers with four goals, while Annie Olson and Keala Carter chipped in one a piece.
Madeline McCarthy had seven saves in the goal.
Princeton travels to Villanova this weekend for a series of league games. The Tigers fist match is against Salem International at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
