Women's Golf Places Third At William & Mary Invitational

Williamsburg, Va. - Avery Kiser finished one stroke back of first place and Princeton finished third as a team after Sunday's final round at the William & Mary Invitational in Williamsburg, Va. was rained out. Princeton shot a team score of 310 at the tournament, three shots back of champion Longwood University.
Kiser finished with an 18-hole score of 74 and registered a tournament-best 35 on the front nine. Meg Nakamura was two strokes back at 76 and tied for 10th overall. Taryn Haladay scored a 79 and tied for 26th overall.
Longwood scored a 307 to win the tournament while James Madison placed second with a team score of 308. Emma Stachowicz, who registered an 81 and Megan Milam, who scored an 82, rounded out Princeton's scoring in the tournament. Vanessa Redman competed as an individual and notched an 83.
The Tigers are in action again next weekend when they compete at the Boston College Invitational in Boston, Mass.
