Thomas Pauly Named Ivy League Pitcher Of The Week...Again

Princeton, N.J. - Princeton reliever Thomas Pauly was named the Ivy League Pitcher of the Week for the second consecutive week. He made three appearances over the week, picking up a win and a save.
In 5.2 innings of work, Pauly allowed only one hit and one run while striking out 11 batters. On Sunday, he pitched two innings to get an extra innings win against Dartmouth, and on Monday, he tossed 2.2 innings to get the save in Princeton's 2-0 win. Pauly is now 4-0 with two saves and a 0.76 ERA.
Tim Lahey was named to the honor roll following another strong weekend for the catcher. Lahey continued to be a strong presence in the Tiger lineup, going 5-for-16 over the past week with six runs and two RBIs. He also posted a double, a home run and a stolen base. He now leads Princeton with seven home runs and has a .585 slugging percentage. He also threw out the only base runner that attempted to steal on him. Princeton Weekly Notes...
Weather was Princeton's toughest opponent over the week as it postponed a midweek game with Rutgers and moved Saturday's double header with Harvard to Monday ... In the coming week, Princeton meets Seton Hall on Tuesday afternoon, then travels to Penn on Friday and Saturday for its first Gehrig Division games of the season ... Saturday's double header will be televised on CN8 ... The first game will be shown live and the second game will be tape delayed on Sunday ... Princeton's win over Dartmouth on Sunday was the third extra inning game for Princeton this season ... The Tigers are now 3-0 in those games, earning a 7-6 win over William & Mary in 10 innings, a 7-4 win over Yale in 11 innings and the 6-5 win over Dartmouth in eight innings ...
