Princeton, N.J. - Princeton pitcher Thomas Pauly was today named a 2003 Verizon Third Team Academic All-America. Pauly qualified for the team after being selected as a First-Team All-District player for the second consecutive season.

Pauly has earned several honors this season. He was named the New Jersey Pitcher of the Year as well as being named first-team all-state and first-team all-Ivy. Last season Pauly was a third-team all-America.

Pauly and the Tigers will return to the field on Friday night at Auburn in the first round of the NCAA tournament. Clemson and Ohio State are the other two teams playing in the regional.
