PRINCETON, N.J. - Brandon Mueller has been ruled academically ineligible and is not currently enrolled at Princeton University, the University announced today.
Mueller, a 2002 second-team All-Ivy selection, had 56 tackles last season and was second on the team with four interceptions. He had 176 tackles over his three years and 18 passes defensed. He will be eligible to return to Princeton as a senior in the fall of 2004.
"Our program is disappointed that this has happened," Princeton head coach Roger Hughes said. "Brandon brings talent and energy to the defense, and we look forward to him returning for the 2004 season."
