PRINCETON, N.J. - The Princeton men's swimming & diving team opened the 2004 portion of its Ivy League schedule Sunday with a 167-114 victory over Dartmouth. A pair of wins apiece by Juan Valdivieso and Mike Zee pushed the Tigers to the win and set Princeton up for the annual HYP meet next weekend at Princeton.
Valdivieso won the 100 fly in 50.49, barely topping teammate Jeff Yellin's second-best time of 51.01. He also took first in the 100 backstroke, finishing in 52.17. Senior Kevin Weiner was second in the event with a time of 53.42.
