Ohlendorf Featured in Baseball America; Chosen Ivy League Pre-Season Player of the Year

Princeton, N.J. - Princeton pitcher Ross Ohlendorf was recently featured in the February 2-15 college preview issue of Baseball America. The junior from Austin, Texas is expected to be a first-round draft pick in this June's draft.
In addition to profiling Ohlendorf, the magazine predicted how it felt the teams would finish in the 2004 season, as well as naming pre-season all-conference teams and player of the year. Princeton was picked to finish first in the Gehrig Division and face Dartmouth, the Rolfe Division champion, in the Ivy League Championship Series, which Princeton was predicted to win.
Ohlendorf was named the pre-season Player of the Year, as well as one of three pitchers named to the pre-season all-conference team. Other Tigers joining him on the squad are senior catcher Tim Lahey and junior designated hitter/outfielder B.J. Szymanski. Additionally, freshman pitcher Gavin Fabian was named the league's top newcomer.
