Leesburg, Va. - The Princeton men's golf team shot a final-round 290 to clinch a ninth-place finish at the Georgetown Invitational. Princeton's 290 was the fourth-lowest round of the day and gained the Tigers three spots in the final rundown.
Eastern Michigan shot a two-round 569 to win the two-round tournament by 14 strokes over Maryland. William & Mary, Richmond and Towson rounded out the top five of the 12 school event.
Princeton's Creighton Page led the Tigers with a 174 to place in a tie for 18th overall. John Sawin and Jason Gerken tied for 31st overall with 151's. Sawin's second-round 69 was the third lowest round in the entire tournament.
Brent Herlihy shat a 155 (T-46th) and David Huestis posted a 164 (T-59th).
