Men's Swimming Opens Ivy Competition With Sweep Of Penn, Cornell

Philadelphia - The Princeton men's swimming & diving team won six events, including two by Justin Chiles, to sweep Penn and Cornell on the first night of Ivy League competition.
Chiles won the 100 free (45.98) and the 200 free (1:40.88) to lead Princeton to the pair of wins. A pair of sophomores who helped lead Princeton to the 2004 EISL title, Meir Hasbani and Mike Zee, also pulled out victories. Hasbani won the 200 IM in 1:53.83, while Zee won the 200 back in 1:51.24.
The 400 free relay won in 3:05.72. The lone freshman to win for Princeton came on the diving side, as Stuart Malcolm earned the 3-meter victory with 257.20 points.
