Women's Basketball Travels To Mountain Hawk Country

Princeton, N.J. - After an exciting 1-0 start on the season, the women's basketball team travels to Bethlehelm, Pa., on Tuesday to face Lehigh at Stabler Arena. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
Princeton Game Notes
A Time To Reclaim - Although Princeton leads the series 10-7; Lehigh has won the last two contests, including the Tigers' home opener last year, 56-53.
Splitting The Weekend - Lehigh opened it's season with a 61-51 win over UNC-Ashville, but fell to Marshall, 68-66, in the Fifth Third Championship game this past weekend.
Conference Rulings - Princeton is 35-27 all-time against the Patriot League and 4-4 under head coach Richard Barron.
Injury Report - Casey Lockwood continues to rehab her knee after tearing her ACL last season. Lockwood is expected to return to the line up in January. When It Counts - Junior Katy O'Brien went 0-7 in the first 39:58 seconds of the Monmouth contest, but with the team down three and two ticks left on the clock she made her first field goal of the game and sent it into overtime.
Never Forget - Last season's All-Rookie selection Katy Digovich picked up where she left off when she dropped 17 points on Monmouth last week. Digovich added five of the 12 points scored in the overtime period and finished with six rebounds on the night.
Making An Impression - Freshman Meg Cowher made her collegiate debut with a double-double after posting 10 points and 10 rebounds in the overtime thriller. She was named this week's Ivy League Rookie of the Week following her efforts.
Flashback - The Tigers were led by Katy Digovich and Becky Brown against Lehigh, last season. Digovich scored a career-high 20 points in the game and Brown chipped in 14 points.
Defense Is Key - Princeton held Monmouth to just 30.4 percent shooting from the field in the first half and caused 12 turnovers. In the second half and extra period, the Tigers didn't allow a basket from beyond the arc.
All-Around Leaders - Juniors Katy O'Brien, Ali Smith and Becky Brown have the most playing experience on the squad and combined to make up 48% of the team's offense with 755 points last year.
Long Range - Katy O'Brien nailed 61 three-pointers last year and currently sits second all-time career three-point field goal percentage (.374) behind Sandi Bittler `90 (.471). O'Brien also averaged 9.1 points, dished out 86 assists and collected 55 steals for the Tigers last season.
Crashing The Boards - The Tigers placed third in rebounding offense in the Ivy League last year with 38.0 rebounds per game. Both Becky Brown and Katy Digovich ranked in the Top-10 in the league in rebounds. Three Tigers (Brown, Digovich and Casey Lockwood) all averaged 6.0 or more rebounds a contest.
Defensive Edge - Princeton finished second in the Ivy League last season in scoring defense after only allowing 64.0 points a contest.
From Coast To Coast - Five of the members of the 2004-05 squad are from California, one is from Hawaii and the other five range from the Midwest to the East Coast.
