Tigers Fall to Army, 6-1, in Men's Tennis

WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Princeton men's tennis team began a weekend of matches in West Point, N.Y., with a 6-1 defeat at the hands of host Army Saturday afternoon at the Lichtenberg Tennis Center.
Princeton's singles win came at No. 6, where freshman Sratha Saengsuwarn won in straight sets over Army's Sebastian Sales, 7-5 and 6-0. No. 1 Darius Craton took his match with Army's John Sabia into a third set, winning the second 6-4, but lost a tough 7-5 decision in the third set.
The Tigers, who fell to 1-3 on the spring with the loss, also won at No. 3 doubles. David Gopstein and Hans Plukas defeated Army's Kyle Roybal and Carl Fisher by a 9-7 score. Gopstein also lost a tough decision at No. 4 singles to Fisher, falling in two tiebreaks, 7-6 and 7-6.
