Men's Lightweight Crew Falls At Navy

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Princeton men's lightweight crew dropped its season opener Saturday at Navy, falling by slightly more than seven seconds to the Midshipmen. Princeton, the defending Eastern champion, did pick up a victory from the second varsity eight.
Also in the morning, the Princeton heavyweight freshmen completed a two-boat sweep of Navy. The top boat came in at 6:15.1, nearly seven seconds faster than its opponent. Princeton's 2004 first novice boat continues a winning streak that dates back to 2002, as the Princeton heavyeight freshmen went undefeated last season.
