Men's Golf Placed in NCAA Central Regional

Princeton, N.J. - The Princeton men's golf team was one of 27 schools assigned to compete at the the 2004 NCAA Central Regional Golf Tournament, hosted by Purdue May 20-22 at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Course. Of the 27 teams and three individuals playing at the tournament, 10 teams and the top two individuals from non-qualifying teams advance to the NCAA Finals with the East and West Regional qualfiers at Hot Springs, Va., June 1-4.
Princeton qualified for the tournament by winning the Ivy League Championships three weekends ago in Jackson, N.J. Jason Gerken leads Princeton into the Regional after claiming top individual honors at the Ivy League Championship.
