Sacramento, Calif. - The Princeton women's open crew advanced to the Division I eights Grand Final at the NCAA rowing championships with a third-place semifinal performance Saturday afternoon.
The Tigers will race in Sunday's Grand Final, which will be held at noon local time (3 Eastern).
Princeton joins Yale, Brown, California, Ohio State and Michigan in the Grand Final. The Tigers finished third in their semifinal heat, .7 seconds ahead of Washington. Brown won the heat in 6:33.0, followed by Cal at 6:36.4 and Princeton in 6:36.41.
Princeton's second varsity eights and varsity fours will both race in the Petite Final Sunday as well.
