Women's Open Rowing Has Four Earn All-America Status; 12 Nab Scholar Athlete Laurels

PRINCETON – The Princeton Women's Open Rowing Team had four members named Collegiate Rowing Coaches' Association (CRCA) All-Americans today.
Laoise O'Donohue nabbed first team honors along with Lindsay Saunders, Joely Cherniss and Ellie Smith were picked for second team laurels.
Those four were on the first varsity that won Ivy League gold for the ninth straight season. The 1V used a strong push after the 500m mark and took the lead for good, crossing the line first at 6:09.9, 3.5 seconds in front of Yale (6:13.5), who's only loss this season was to No. 4 Tennessee. That boat finished sixth overall at the NCAAs as well.
Princeton also had 11 CRCA Scholar Athletes in Leela DuBois, O'Donohue, Cate Sauer, Saunders, Phaedra van der Molen, Percy Wayne, Cherniss, Christina Li, Karina Macosko, Margo Mattes, Rachel Mark and Cami Price.
