Women's Open Rowing Has Two Pick Up Medals at U23 World Rowing Championships

Duisburg, Germany – The Princeton Women's Open Rowing Team had two members earn medals at the U23 World Rowing Championships.
Greece's Milena Kontou '30 and Eleni Diavati won the double sculls gold medal with a 6:59.14, just in front of Poland. The United States' Cate Sauer and Savanna Jerome won the C Final (7:14.36) to finish 14th overall.
Liv Cheesmur and Great Britain's 4- corralled the silver medal (6:35.52) behind only the United States.
Anna Cowell and Valentina Fenton crossed the line first (7:19.53) in the pair B Final for Great Britain.
Lauren Dubois and Joely Cherniss race in the 8+ final for the United States Sunday at 5:35 am ET (11:35 am local).
