PRINCETON - While the YES Network will provide national television coverage for two of Princeton's football games this season, CSTV has announced that it will also televise two Princeton games this season. Home games against Lafayette and Penn can be seen live this season on College Sports Television.
The first game will be the season opener against Lafayette (Sept. 18), which is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start. The Leopards earned a 28-13 win over Princeton last season, but the Tigers have played their home opener well in recent years, including a 34-19 win over Lafayette in 2002. This will be Princeton's only night game of the season.
On Nov. 6, Princeton will take on defending champion Penn at Princeton Stadium. Despite losing several players from its undefeated 2003 squad, the Quakers will be one of the preseason favorites this season. This game is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start.
College Sports TV, the fastest-growing independent cable network, is available to more than 20 million homes nationally on cable and satellite. The network is available on Time Warner, Adelphia and Insight cable systems, among others, and is also available on DirecTV (channel 610). For information on CSTV availability in particular markets, consumers can log on to www.collegesports.com or call their cable or satellite operator.
