Stover Named CWPA Player of the Week

Princeton, N.J. - Princeton junior driver John Stover was named the Collegiate Water Polo Association's Player of the Week after leading the charge for Princeton as the Tigers won three games and improved to a perfect 8-0 on the season.
Stover scored a combined 16 goals in the three wins, including a six goals in a 15-11 win at Johns Hopkins. He continued the fierce pace with 10 goals in two games over the weekend, including four against Navy and six against Salem International.
This weekend Stover and the Tigers travel to Harvard to compete at the ECAC Tournament. Princeton begins the tournament by meeting George Washington at 9 a.m., on Saturday morning and then faces Iona at 7 p.m.
