Women's Fencing Drops Rutgers

PRINCETON, N.J. - Both junior Jacqueline Leahy and sophomore Mina Morova scored 15-2 in bouts as the women's fencing team defeated Rutgers but fell to St. John's and Ivy foe Columbia this past weekend. Princeton's team record stands at 2-3 following the homestand.
Leahy was dominant in the foil with a 15-2 tally in the Rutgers match-up and 15-6 against St. John's, while Morova as 15-2 in the sabre against Rutgers.. Sophomore Sara Jew-Lim was 6-6 in the foil.
In the epee, sophomore Erin McGarry defeated her Rutger's opponents 15-5, while junior Kira Hohensee went 14-8 over Columbia, The Tigers will host Cornell, Fairleigh Dickinson, James Madison and Haverford on Saturday, Feb. 5 at 10 a.m. in Jadwin.
