Wrestling Improves To 4-0 With Sweep At NYU Duals

NEW YORK CITY - Jake Butler was extended to the second period only once and joined a cast of teammates who went 4-0 to lead the Princeton wrestling team to a perfect day at the NYU Duals. After three easy wins, the Tigers were pushed by a tough Williams squad, but Princeton held on for the 29-21 win and the perfect day.
Butler, Danny Scotton, Andrew Iannuzzi and Marty Everin each went 4-0 on the day. Scotton, a freshman at 133 pounds, earned three falls and a decision, while Iannuzzi had a fall, a tech fall and two major decisions. Everin had two falls, a major decision and a decision, and Butler had two falls, a major decision and an injury default.
Princeton will wrestle at Franklin & Marshall Wednesday night.
