DeMond, Malcolm Qualify For NCAA Zones At Diving Invitational

PRINCETON - Both Kent DeMond and Stuart Malcolm earned individual wins, and each earned a pair of NCAA qualifying scores during the Princeton Diving Invitational this past weekend. Michelle Demond also claimed a win for the women's team, qualifying for NCAA Zones with her winning score in the platform competition.
Jessica Larson was the big winner for the women's events; the Brown competitor swept both the 1- and the 3-meter events. DeMond placed second in both of those events.
Kent DeMond edged Malcolm on Friday during the 1-meter competition (282.37 points), and it was Malcolm turning the tables on Saturday at the 3-meter competition (321.30 points). DeMond claimed the rubber match, winning the platform competition with 385.65 points, although both he and Malcolm had NCAA Zone qualifying scores.
