Princeton, N.J. -- Freshman Ariel Rogers was named Ivy League Rookie of the Week for the first time in her career, Monday, following her strong performances in this past weekend's home-wins.
Rogers set two back-to-back career-highs en route to a successful weekend. Against Yale on Friday night, she was seven-for-eight from the charity stripe and scored a career-high 13 points, while grabbing six boards. The next night, she earned the first start of her career and posted a new personal-high with 14 points. She added six more rebounds to her weekend total in the win over Brown.
Rogers is the second Tiger, this season, to earn this accolade and it marks the fifth honor for the squad.
Princeton heads to Philadelphia, Pa., Tuesday, as the Tigers face Penn at 7 p.m.
