PRINCETON - The Princeton men's lightweight crew opened the 2005 schedule with a loss to the Midshipmen of Navy Saturday morning at Lake Carnegie. The visitors claimed three of four races at the regatta, with Princeton claiming the third varsity eight.
The first varsity boat for Navy finished in 5:57.2, more than four seconds faster than the Princeton boat (6:01.7). The Princeton win came in 6:13.3, with Navy placing second in 6:16.7.
Princeton will host Columbia on Saturday, April 2.
