Snyder Earns Pitcher Of The Week, Again

PRINCETON, N.J. - Junior pitcher, Erin Snyder was named this week's Pitcher of the Week by the Ivy League for the week ending on April 10. This is Snyder's second-consecutive honor and fourth of the season.
Snyder tallied her eighth-straight win this week and recorded two shutouts from the mound. Her first shutout of the week was against Ivy foe, Penn, where she allowed only two hits in seven innings and struck out 11 batters. Snyder, then, blanked Columbia, 1-0, in 10 innings, while adding 14 batters to her strikeout total. Her third win of the week was a 9-1 decision over Lehigh, where she pitched six innings allowing four hits and one run, while fanning nine in the process.
Snyder (12-2) holds a .77 era and scored three runs and added three RBIs off five hits last week.
Princeton hosts Towson in a doubleheader beginning at 3 p.m. this afternoon.
