PRINCETON - The Princeton lightweight crew took its first road trip of the season Saturday, and it didn't enjoy the results. The Tigers fell to both Cornell and Rutgers on Cayuga Inlet Saturday, but they will get a chance to get back on track next weekend at Penn.
Cornell won the top varsity race comfortably, finishing in 5:53.6. Rutgers finished second in 6:00.7, while Princeton finished third in 6:07.2.
The Tigers finished first in the top novice race (6:02.4), and they placed second in the second varsity race (6:07.9) and third varsity race (6:10.6).
Princeton will travel to Penn next weekend.
