Men's Lightweights Sweep Columbia By Claiming Tight Win At 1V

PRINCETON - An exciting finish to the men's lightweight regatta with Columbia gave Princeton a sweep of the four races against its Ivy League rival. The Tigers claimed the top race by 1.4 seconds to win its fourth race in as many contests.
Princeton won the 1V in 5:48.1, with Columbia placing second in 5:49.5. The top freshman race had similar, and even closer, results, with the Tigers claiming victory in 5:52.6, just ahead of Columbia's time of 5:53.2.
The win moves Princeton to 1-1 on the season. The Tigers will look to go over the .500 mark when it welcomes Georgetown to Lake Carnegie next weekend.
