Snyder Earns Pitcher Of The Week

PRINCETON, N.J. -Junior Erin Snyder earned Pitcher of the Week honors from the Ivy League after posting her first-collegiate perfect game, last week. This is Snyder's third honor of the season from the conference.
Snyder's perfect game was recorded in the 8-0 win over Fairfield in Princeton's home-opener on March 29. Snyder (10-2) struck out 10 of the 15 batters she faced in becoming the fourth Tiger to pitch a perfect game and the last since Brianne M. Galicinao against Penn on April 28, 2001. With the 4-0 win over Penn, yesterday, Snyder has tallied five shutouts this season and improved as Princeton's second-best career strikeout leader with 453 strikeouts in her career. She boasts a .79 era in 80 innings pitched and leads the team and conference in wins (10), shutouts (5) and strikeouts (117).
Offensively, Snyder has a .456 slugging percentage and is second amongst her teammates with 16 RBIs and three home runs.
The Tigers face Temple at 4 p.m., today.
