Princeton, N.J. - The Princeton women's water polo team picked up two wins Saturday by defeating George Washington and Maryland. The Tigers started the day wth a 12-10 win at GW and finished the day with a 17-6 triumph at Maryland.
Princeton (23-7) completed its CWPA Southern schedule at 8-0 with the two wins and will be the top seed for the upcoming Southern Championships on April 23-24 at Bucknell's Kinney Natatorium.
The Tigers began the day against the Colonials in Washington, D.C. Elyse Colgan was Princeton's offensive star in the game with six goals and Jazmin Brown and Megan Donahue each added a pair. Madeline McCarthy made a save in the cage to earn the win.

The Tigers then headed to College Park, Md., to take on the Terapins and pulled off a 17-6 win. Anne-Lise Maag and Colgan both scored three goals and Danielle Carlson, Carolina Ardila and Madeline McCarthy each added a pair. Shannon DeVore made five saves in goal.
