Princeton, N.J. - The Princeton baseball team hosts Rider Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 p.m., in the Tigers' season finale. Princeton has won four of its last five meetings with the Broncs and will look to make it three in a row when the teams meet. Fans can follow the action of the game live with Gametracker. Princeton (16-24, 10-10 Ivy) split it series with Cornell last weekend. That result was enough for Cornell to clinch the Gehrig Division title and eliminate the Tigers from the Ivy League postseason for the first time in nine years. Cornell won the first games of both doubleheaders while the Tigers came back to take the nightcaps of each.
Rider (12-25, 8-10 MAAC) enters the game winners of two-straight, but had lost its previous eight games. The Broncs are sixth in the MAAC standings. Rider and Princeton have faced three common opponents with Princeton holding an edge. Rider lost two games to Monmouth, and singles games to Rutgers and Seton Hall, while Princeton topped both Seton Hall and Rutgers, and was also swept by Monmouth.
