The 18th-ranked Princeton women's water polo team picked up a win yesterday against UC Santa Cruz but fell yesterday at Santa Clara and today at San Jose State, as the Tigers begin their seven-game Spring Break trip. The games continue on Tuesday when Princeton meets Cal State Monterey Bay and Sonoma State.
Princeton played a pair of game yesterday, starting the day with a 12-4 loss at Santa Clara. Carolina Ardila scored twice in the game while Samantha Shaughnessy and Mina Ananth each added a single goal.

Princeton salvaged the day with a split as the Tigers earned a 14-4 win later in the day at UC Santa Cruz. Jazmin Brown and Elyse Colgan each scored three times in the game, while Ardila and Megan Donahue both scored twice. Natalie Kim made six saves.

On Sunday the Tigers faced San Jose State and dropped a back-and-forth game 9-8 in overtime. Princeton led 6-4 going into the final period, but a pair of Spartan goals in the final period forced overtime and Katie Morgan's goal with 37 seconds left in the second overtime period lifted San Jose State to the win.
