Princeton Fan Travel Available For Ivy League Women's Basketball Playoff

A spirit bus has been chartered to take Princeton fans to Lee Amphitheater in New Haven, Conn., to see the Princeton women's basketball team play for an NCAA Tournament bid Sunday. A limited number of seats are available, free of charge, for those who want to ride with the Princeton cheerleaders and mascot to the game.

The bus will depart at 9:30 a.m. in front of DeNunzio Pool just east of Jadwin Gym for the 2 p.m. tip-off. Those who wish to ride the bus should call Adlay Bugg at (609) 258-0062 or e-mail her at bugg@princeton.edu by Friday at 4 p.m. to reserve a seat. Fans can also stop by on Sunday before departure to take advantage of any remaining seats. All should be aware that New Haven will be hosting a large parade which will occur at the same time as the women's basketball game and the event may complicate traffic conditions should you plan to travel on your own.

Princeton, in search of its first NCAA Tournament appearance, will play either Brown or Dartmouth for the league's postseason automatic bid. Those two schools play Friday night at Yale.

Game tickets can be purchased upon arrival at Yale. Students with their Princeton ID cards get in free, while other adult fans are $5 and children and seniors are $3.
