Men's Golf Finishes Ninth at Upton Invite

WESTOVER, Md. - The Princeton men's golf team finished in a ninth-place tie at the two-round Drew Upton Invitational hosted by Towson University on Sunday. Jason Gerken was Princeton's top overall finisher at 1-under, placing seventh. The University of Richmond won the tournament, 12 shots ahead of Princeton.
Gerken (72-71-143) was five shots back of Andrew Turner of Liberty, who was at 6-under for the weekend. John Sawin was 1-over, tying for 19th place (74-71-145), while Jesse Dixon was 6-over (78-72-150), tying for 54th. Andrew Maliniak was 7-over, tying for 66th (74-77-151) and Brent Herlihy was 12-over (77-79-156), tying for 99th.
Next weekend, the Orange and Black host the Princeton Invitational at Springdale Golf Course.
