Ivy Champion Men's Golf Visits Virginia in Last Regular-Season Event

PRINCETON, N.J. - Six days after winning the team's 19th Ivy League title since 1975, the Princeton men's golf team heads to Charlottesville, Va., for the Cavalier Classic hosted by the University of Virginia. The Saturday-Sunday event features 54 holes and is the final event on Princeton's schedule before the NCAA Regionals May 18-20.
Last week's win in the Ivy meet was the third straight conference title for the Orange and Black, which edged Columbia by one shot in the 54-hole competition.
Belmont, Boston College, James Madison, Maryland, UNC Greensboro, Towson, Virginia Commonwealth, two teams from Virginia and individuals from N.C. State are scheduled to compete. Play will begin at 8:30 a.m. both days at the Birdwood Golf Course.
