HARRISONBURG, Va. - Marlowe Boukis is tied for second place individually and the Princeton women's golf team is in fourth after the first day of the Bonnie Hoover Invitational hosted by James Madison University.
The Tigers are just six shots back of leader Georgetown, three behind second-place Penn State and two behind third-place William & Mary.
Boukis fired a one-over 73, even with Georgetown's Nicole Hayashi and three shots back of William & Mary's Erika Oldenkamp. Rounding out Princeton's five-person contingent were Sharla Cloutier in fifth at +3, Susannah Aboff tied for 19th at +7, Caitlin Sullivan tied for 43rd at +10 and Alexis Etow tied for 50th at +12.
The tournament concludes Sunday.
