Two-Time Football Captain Signs With Washington Redskins

Washington Redskins defensive coordinator Gregg Williams has the inside scoop on the Princeton football defense. His son, Blake, is a rising junior linebacker and special teams standout. Last year, Williams made sure Zak Keasey ended up in the Redskins' burgundy and gold. This year, his focus was on Justin Stull.
Stull, a two-time captain and three-time All-Ivy selection, became the fourth Princeton football player to sign with an NFL team this offseason when he inked a contract with the Redskins. Like Keasey one year earlier, Stull made his way to rookie mini-camp and impressed enough to earn a deal. His next goal will be to make the roster when training camp rolls around.
Stull was a first-team selection in 2003 and 2005 and a second-team selection in 2004. He made his way back on the first-team among a loaded crop of Ivy League linebackers. Stull led Princeton with 86 tackles this season and added 6.5 tackles for loss, four sacks and two forced fumbles. Stull is the Ivy League leader in tackles over the last three seasons and ends his career as the third-leading tackler all-time at Princeton.
Other offseason NFL signees were Ben Brielmaier (Cleveland Browns), Jon Dekker (Pittsburgh Steelers) and Jay McCareins (Arizona Cardinals).
