Princeton steeplechase recordholder Suzanne Andrews had another strong performance in the event Friday night at Weaver Stadium when she finished fourth in the race at the 2006 ECAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Andrews, a senior, earned five points for the Tigers by finishing the 7 1/2 laps in a time of 10:37.21. Columbia's Laura Meyers won the event in a time of 10:27.78.
The Tigers also got a strong performance in the 5,000 meters from junior distance standout Mia Swenson. Swenson, a junior, finished ninth overall in a field of 33 in a time of 16:59.23 for the 12 1/2 laps.
Princeton continues action at the ECAC meet Saturday and Sunday at Weaver Stadium.
