PRINCETON - The Princeton baseball team will meet Lehigh twice during Memorial Day Weekend as both teams look to prepare for the following weekend's NCAA regionals. Princeton became the first team in the nation to secure its ticket to the NCAA tournament when it swept Harvard on May 6. Lehigh became the second team to qualify for the field when it swept Bucknell last weekend. The games will break up what would have been a 26-day layoff between the Ivy championships and the NCAA regional for Princeton.
The teams will begin the series with a single game at Clarke Field on Saturday, May 27 at 2 p.m., and finish with a single game on Sunday, May 28 at Lehigh. That game will begin at 1 p.m. Princeton and Lehigh last met in 1998 during head coach Scott Bradley's first season at Princeton. The Tigers won that game 9-7.
