Men's Golf Stands Fifth at Big Five Tournament

FLOURTOWN, Pa. -- Andrew Maliniak shot a 73 Saturday to tie for seventh place and lead a Princeton team to a fifth-place standing halfway through the Big Five Invitational outside Philadelphia.
Juan Pablo Candela fired a 75 and Jake Skinner and Evan Harmeling each shot a 76 to put Princeton at +16 as a team and eight shots off the lead atop a tight team standings. Seton Hall is at +8 while Penn is second at +13, Boston College is third at +14 and Cornell is at +15 ahead of the Tigers. Individually, John Zur led Seton Hall to its midpoint lead with a 67, leading a handful of golfers by four shots and Maliniak's group by six strokes.
The tournament will conclude Sunday.
