Friday Night Fans Are Asked To BLACK Out The Red
October 23, 2007 | Football
When Cornell visits Powers Field at Princeton Stadium for Friday night's nationally televised football showdown, Tiger head football coach Roger Hughes and the Princeton football team are asking all fans to wear BLACK.
"Our team appreciates the support our fans bring to each game that we play at Princeton Stadium," Hughes said. "With ESPNU televising the game, we want to give our fans the opportunity to make a statement by wearing BLACK and to show the nation how much support our program gets from our students, alums and all of our local fans."
The football team will also wear all black uniforms.
Other festivities include Tiger Town - the Interactive Fun-Zone for Families - which includes the Tiger Bounce House, the football Challenge Inflatable Game, Balloon Animals and Face Painting. Also members of the Princeton men's and women's basketball teams will be signing autographs at halftime in Tiger Town. For tickets call 609-258-4TIX or visit www.GoPrincetonTigers.com.
