Princeton Golf Teams to Wrap Fall Seasons in Carolinas

PRINCETON -- The Princeton golf teams will wrap up their fall seasons Monday and Tuesday with tournaments in the Carolinas. The Tiger men will head to Old Dominion's Seascape Invitational in Kitty Hawk, N.C., while the women will travel a little further to Kiawah Island, S.C., for the College of Charleston-hosted Palmetto Invitational.
The men's tournament will feature one round each day on the par-70 Sea Scape Golf Links in Kitty Hawk, which measures 6,131 yards. Other teams in the field include Binghamton, Campbell, Davidson, Delaware, Drexel, Elon, George Mason, George Washington, Hartford, James Madison, Liberty, Radford, Richmond, Samford, South Carolina-Upstate, St. Bonaventure, Saint Joseph's, Winthrop, Wofford and the host Monarchs from Old Dominion. Princeton will fire from the 10th tee beginning at 8:30 a.m.
The women's tournament is a three-round event with two rounds Monday. The Oak Point Golf Club course is a par 72 that measures 5,933 yards and the start will be a shotgun format. Appalachian State, Baylor, Campbell, Charleston Southern, Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, East Tennessee State, Georgia State, Indiana, Iowa State, Kansas State, Maryland, Miami (Fla.), Nebraska, Oral Roberts, Tennessee-Chattanooga, Western Carolina, Wisconsin and host College of Charleston will join the Tigers in the event. The tournament will tee off at 8:30 a.m. Monday and 8:45 a.m. Tuesday.
Old Dominion's tournament is the fifth for the men's team in the fall, while College of Charleston's event is the fourth women's tournament. Both programs will begin their spring seasons in March.
