Men's Water Polo Takes Non-League Win Over Queens

PRINCETON -- Seven Tigers scored goals to lead the 18th-ranked Princeton men's water polo team to a 9-4 win over Queens on Friday night at DeNunzio Pool. Senior Zach Beckmann and freshman Tommy Parolin each scored twice for Princeton in the win.
The Tigers got off to a good start by jumping to a 4-0 lead after the opening quarter. Princeton moved its lead to 6-1 at the half and never looked back on its way to its ninth win of the season and now stands at 9-4 overall this season.
In the Princeton net, senior Scott Syverson made three saves in the opening quarter to register the win, while sophomore Henry Fyfe made five saves over the remaining three quarters.
Princeton continues its final home weekend of the season tomorrow with league games against Navy and Bucknell on Saturday.
